Kunichiwa min-na! Belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I’m typed this message in Baguio City last December 29, 2008 as I was in our room in a house that we were staying for 4 days from December 27 until the 30th. I have so many things I wanna share to you all that’s why I grabbed the opportunity to use our dads laptop just to type this :3

Ok, so to start this message lets start on what are my plans for the New Year 2009. hmmm… first I’m planning to be more knowledgeable and more organize with a lot of things especially for myself and our family business. I wanted to be more reliable in terms of managing the things that will give us our future. I also wanted to make and have more friends that’s why learning English and various communicating skills are my top priorities to socialize to others.

Second, I dreamed of becoming a great and professional manga/comic/ anime artist. I wanted to do a story that will never be forgotten, a story that will touch people’s minds and hearts. A story that will trigger this country to support and understand each others needs and dreams. Unfortunately things just gets tougher as you grow, the people and the environment that surrounds you sometimes pull your dreams crashing down flat, but with all this I still have this faith of obtaining this dream of mine that I believe can change my life and give me shiawase.

Third, my new goal is to become a professional anime cosplayer for the year 2009. I planned on making and organizing conventions that will feature cosplay contest and other anime stuff. Since I haven’t got the time on attending conventions I planned on making one. My very first cosplay convention experience was at the activity center of the glorieta mall in makati, it was the launching of the first all anime 24/7 cable channel ANIMAX. Together with my sisters and brother with our mom we take a glimpse of the lively convention, as far as I remember its also ASTROBOY’s birthday being celebrated with his cake on the guests table. It was very heart pumping and at the same time nervous of what will be happening next, then came the cosplayers ramping. There were yuna of FFX-2, Rikku, Astroboy and the big blue robot from Ghost in the Shell and lots more. As that event ends my goals of becoming a cosplayer begun. My very first cosplay was when my big sister won in the recent ANIMAX fashion ability event that was held at the TRINOMA mall. I cosplay as the great MINATO NAMIKAZE a.k.a. YONDAIME (4th) HOKAGE of the anime NARUTO, the first time I heard of him and learned that he was the one who sealed the nine tailed kyuubi in the infant Naruto and later on he was his father. Although his existence and appearance in the anime series can only be counted with our fingers for me he is a character to be idolized, why? Well for being a genius person and a loving father by giving his own life for his son that he believe will soon be the greatest ninja and person that everybody will acknowledge. This things came to mind that’s why even with a lot of Naruto characters there is only Minato is the best for me. Ok back to the my cosplay plans, recently I designed a SUZUMIYA HARUHI of The Melancholy of SUZUMIYA HARUHI costume for my lil’ sisters party and I also designed her MIAKA YUKI of FUSHIGI YUGI that she wore at the Fashion Ability together with me.

And for the forth, I also plans of becoming a culinary chef just like my idol Chef Gordon Ramsey. After watching and finishing his last 3 seasons of Hells Kitchen (a cooking TV series with Ramsey as a Judge and at the same time training aspiring chefs who dreams of being an executive on one of Ramsey’s Fine Restaurants Abroad) it triggered my instincts to be one.

Well that’s it folks this are my thought and goals for the year 2009 year of the OX. I am under this Chinese sign (1985) and although some says that if the year is under your sign difficult things will be at hand, but this things will not stop me from achieving my dreams. For God is with me and that my faith will be much stronger.
